Since I was catching up on all my blogs. :) I have a few *wink*.
Hmmm, where to begin? Well, we're planning a nice Beltaine and wedding anniversary party/potluck. Reminds me to get ribbons for the maypoles. I'm getting so excited. We're also planning a trip to our Renn Faire which is happening for the next few weeks. Can't wait to have Elora's face painted and maybe one of her little baby legs too. :) She's 6 and half months old now so she'll be about 7 months when we take her. Those cute little baby legs would be sooooo adorable with a little paint on them. heeeeee
We're all getting over a nasty cold. Some boiled down ginger root seems to have helped us all feel better. I even put some in Elora's milk. Bless her little heart, she must just know mommy did something to help her feel better and she drank it all down. This morning she could breathe so much better. She wasn't stuffy at all. Reminds me that I found a great little site for pagan parents and children from one of my other blogs:
Got a much needed massage the other night and now my sore shoulder feels so much better. It's nice knowing someone who is such an excellent massage therapist. *wink* She doesn't just work on the physical body but also on the aura and chakras as well. I think that is why she is so very good. OH my I do feel so much better. I'm having massage my husband very soon as he needs it too. She taught me baby massage for Elora. *happy dance*
Not a whole lot else going on right now, but maybe that's a good thing right? LOL
Ostara was so lovely. We took pictures but not with a digital camera and now I regret that as I would post some.
We had our first outdoor ritual of the year. The candlelight was amazing! The weather was cool and breezy so Elora had to be wrapped in a blanket, but she was in a lovely little dress. She loved the ritual and the drumming. She was comfortable in her stroller. I normally don't use a stroller, but because the altar was on the ground along with the candles, it would have been difficult to wear her and she would have been uncomfortable. She had a ball in the North Quarter though. :)
Oreana was handmaiden for the first time and she was wonderful, even if she was nervous. We had some friends over and a great feast as I grillled out. Can't wait until Beltaine. I hope to use the same area again and put up a maypole. :)
My daughter Elora and I will be participating in the 4 mile March for Babies to raise money for the March of Dimes. I hope I can make my goal of $500 before the walk on April 26th.

Thanks in advance for reading this post. No donation is too small. Thanks for helping Elora and I give other babies a healthy beginning to life.
Happy Ostara everyone! Tomorrow night my coven meets and I go over the ritual with the Summer and the Handmaiden one more time. I'll also take a break and have a 'story time' maybe. Then we'll dye eggs to decorate the altar and the ritual are with and if all goes well, we'll be outside! Whooot! We've been a little cramped in my apartment for ritual because of the weather. This year I want to do as many outdoor rituals as possible. I already have the loveliest spot picked out for Oreana's Wiccaning/Dedication. I'm so excited!
My dear husband and I have a wedding to perform this afternoon, a traditional Wiccan Handfasting. We do handfastings but very few traditional ones. We're so excited. The ceremony is a little over an hour away so we're leaving Elora at my mom's. If it were someone we knew, we'd just take Elora with us. She attends circles at home and within our coven. Even at 5 months old, she does very well. At Imbolc she was a little fussy as she had started teething. People understand so it's not an issue.
Speaking of our lovely daughter, I found an interesting website with an awesome page for kiddies. www.proudtobepagan.com. I'm so excited to have found it! I'm currently looking for more places that have booka and stories for Wiccan children. :)
